Job Title: Onshore Wind Service Technician

Location: Hadyard Hill Wind Farm

Salary: £24,197 - £31,960 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours

The Role

You will be working with a team of Engineers who take pride in the operation and maintenance our fleet. 

Utilising information from our maintenance management system you will perform scheduled maintenance and fault rectification on our fleet of turbines, ensuring they are operating at their optimum capacity.  Along with others members of the team you will ensure the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) protection of the site.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will require you to have a minimum of NC or SVQ Level 3 in a Mechanical/Electrical discipline or equivalent and to have served a recognised apprenticeship. If you have experience of servicing, fault finding and repairing of Wind Turbine Generators it would be an advantage but it isn’t essential. Due to the importance of safety you will already be familiar with the application and use of safe systems of work and risk assessments.

To ensure the site is operating throughout the year you may be expected to participate in a scheduled standby rota If you do participate in this its expected you would be required one week in four. Additional payments will be available
