Job Title: Outage Coordinator
Salary: £38,265 – £50,539 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus
Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available
As Outage coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities that have an impact on generation have been prepared, planned and presented to the operations control centre shift team in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. Working with other ROC support functions you will manage and maintain relationships to ensure transparency and good levels of communication with field based teams. You will manage the collation and analysis of all defects affecting the operations centre and lead on operational innovation to drive efficiency
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in an operations or maintenance role. You will have a detailed knowledge of safe operations, operational planning and the grid code. You will demonstrate a sound operational understanding of safety rules and applicable legislation to ensure safe and compliant operations. Ideally you will be degree educated in a discipline relevant to the role.
Understanding of the economics associated with renewable plant, trading within electricity markets and electrical systems would be an advantage.
