An excellent opportunity has become available for Principal Geotechnical/Geo-environmental Engineer to work on a wide range of brownfield and greenfield development schemes, with both regional development agencies and blue chip clients, for a leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy in London. The successful applicant will have the chance to develop their career as a senior member of the leadership team, supporting the growth and development of the business.
Applicants must demonstrate a Geotechnical and Geo-environmental background, having a BSc and MSc in a relevant discipline. A full UK driving license is required.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a technical review of Phase 1 desk study and Phase 2 Site investigations and Environmental statements, and interpretive reporting of geo-environmental site investigations. As you will be required to prepare earthworks specifications and tender documents for geotechnical and contaminated land remediation works, we are seeking a dedicated engineer who can demonstrate a strong understanding of geotechnical principles and soil structure interaction with experience of delivery of infrastructure or contaminated land remediation. The successful candidate will also require a proven track record of business development and proven experience of running a small team. You will also be in charge of project management.
Knowledge of, and experience, with settlement and slope stability analysis software, and applicants must be competent with the use of MS Office suite including Word and Excel.
