There goal is to create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a grade 4 Principal Mechanical Engineer to work in the Waste Water team of the Water Business Line. This position will be based in the Croydon office. Job responsibilities: · In particular we are looking for an experienced Mechanical design engineer, capable of working independently where required and also able to lead design or project teams. Key responsibilities will include leading a team, throughout the tender process, bid analysis, design-review management, project and cost management, through to completion with an emphasis on technical and commercial management. · You will be responsible for feasibility studies, detailed design, value engineering, specification and selection of process equipment, tender assessments, reports and recommendations. Candidate requirements: · Provide and coordinate mechanical design output and assist in the running of the M&E team. In addition, you will produce project documentation including engineering specifications, data sheets, layout drawings and carry out site inspections. · The candidate should have knowledge of water industry requirements, be able to demonstrate technical as well as project management skills and be able to assist in developing graduate trainees.
