Description

Government Contractor is seeking a Project Engineer with Seabee background, specialized in current and developing energy saving technologies used by government, academia, and industry to support US Navy Seabees in Virginia Beach, VA. Requirements: Provide Program Management Support and Identify Process Improvement Opportunities or re-engineering recommendations. Address programmatic and technical issues and validate performance of new technologies. Develop and provide recommendations on the development and application of new technologies and or/the modification of existing equipment. Provide test and evaluation services for newly developed Naval equipment, monitor system testing and data collection, provide analytical support during testing, planning, report test results findings, and provide recommendations on the military utility of technology or equipment. Develop Test Plans that evaluate as well as stress the capability under operational conditions to determine robustness and endurance and develop scenarios that enable the evaluation of the capability under realistic deployed conditions. Participate in project review, technical meetings, conferences, technical working groups, studies, and progress review meetings. Facilitate project engineering review meetings as required in order to gather data and identify technical requirements Prepare and deliver supporting documentation such as test plans, test reports, market research, Concept of Operation, white papers, strategy documents, and technical manuals. Must possess extensive written and oral communication skills and ability to create and conduct briefing to Senior Management in a logical, clear, and concise manner. Participate in project review, technical meetings, conferences, technical working groups, studies, and progress review meetings Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Minimum requirements include a Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in a related field along with at least 10 years experience in a technical management, engineering management, and/or project management discipline. The applicant must have an advanced level of understanding in Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy field.
