SUMMARY
Our Client is currently recruiting for a Programme Works Technician to support their successful team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate would be required to manage and progress all works requested by the Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for all works pricing and for advising the contractor on specific details for tasks to ensure accurate costing is developed. Convening and minuting pre-start meetings with all parties involved within the works programme, proving advice and support as required and developing solutions to issues when required. You will be working in collaboration with suppliers and site technicians to enable all defects/snagging being remedied before handover to client.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will have skills in the following: Construction Industry (Housing), current Building Legislation, Health & Safety & Quality Assurance, Project Management Concepts, Contract Procurement, Asbestos Awareness. You will have experience in multi disciplined planning and site operations including working knowledge of RIBA plan of work and contract conditions, awareness of Construction Design & Management .A background in Electrical/Mechanical training would be advantageous but not essential.
