ELECTRICAL COORDINATOR UK
We are working with a major European engineering and Renewables business who are at the forefront of some major utility scale PV developments.
Within the UK they are now looking to strengthen their construction team by bringing on board a Solar PV Design Co-ordinator to help develop major schemes about to go to site.
The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:
·BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, ideally within energy systems;
·2 to 4 years of experience in electric design (LV / MV), ideally within renewable energy sources and experience with electrical installations follow-up on site;
·Minimum 2 years of experience in both designing and building of ground mounted PV plants (at least 1 MW Peak Power PV Plants);
·Experience in Medium Voltage works and networks;
·Experience in Electrical Design of PV Plant on ground mounted at least 1 MW Power plant Experience in DNO Medium Voltage connection ;
·Experience in Health and Safety on site (preferably in PV Plants) ;
·Experience in Commissioning of PV Plants of at least 1 MW Power;
·Command of MS Office tools, AutoCAD and other civil engineering software;
·Willing to frequently travel across Italy and U.K.;
·(If possible the ability to speak Italian);
·Strong analytical and communication skills;
·Proactive, flexible, systematic and able to adapt to dynamic and demanding environment.
Job description:
·Develop the electrical design of PV plants;
·Analyse continuously electrical standards, regulations and technical legislation both at national and regional level;
·Follow-up and supervision of electrical installations in projects and their compliance with the standards;
·Link to international design department at HQ;
·Support budgeting activity;
·Deal with quotations for local services and supplies (e.g. cables, transformers etc.).
