Ideally you will have an Engineering degree or equivalent experience/professional development in the field of engineering or similar discipline. You will have a track record of project management and will be able to show your experience of managing complex sub contracts and high value projects. You will have good commercial awareness and the ability to keep in mind and optimise the costs and benefits for the company when planning and realising business activities. You will have the ability to influence at all levels and the ability to find the right arguments to convince others of your own ideas and proposals and to promote an approach or a measure through logical and emotional reasoning. Within this role you must have the ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure and assume responsibility for the decision and the outcome of the project. You must also be able to delegate and hand over tasks, competencies and responsibilities to others, giving them the necessary tools and room to work.
