Role Summary/Purpose:

The QA Manager reports to the Project Manager and is delegated the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the projects Quality Plan, Quality Surveillance Plan, project procedures and the reliability management process. He/She is responsible for all QA matters reporting to the Project Manager on project matters and has a functional reporting line to the Quality Leader Subsea Projects.

Lead and coordinate the projects Quality Plan and for the internal suppliers (Centres of Excellence), Quality Surveillance Plan and Quality Control Plan (Inspection and Test Plans) including a complete procedure index. Also accountable for the supplier Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans, and Manufacturing Process
Plans, working in close coordination with the supply chain function.
Initiate the establishment of project specific procedures as necessary
Establish project document control plan
Monitor quality related activities as required by procedures
Perform QA audits and QA implementation reviews in accordance with the quality audit schedule
Perform QA implementation and contract review prior to Contract signature
Monitor non-conformance handling and perform root cause analysis
Initiate corrective actions as required to maintain/correct quality deficiencies
Follow up findings from audits performed on the Project Management Team and other project entities to ensure proper response and also ensure that audits performed by Project Management Team are closed out in an orderly and timely fashion
Work directly for the Project Manager on day to day project quality deliverables.
Liaise with the System Engineering Manager on matters related to QA and Quality Surveillance
Perform Customer Satisfaction Monitoring
Be the interface with the customer and with third parties on quality matters
Develop and establish project specific EPC procedures, support development and revision of core EPC processes and procedures.
EHS- lead by example, promote the EHS message, both externally and internally

Bachelor's degree with at least seven years experience in a manufacturing environment or equal
Ability to interact with internal, external entities and customers, including third parties
Experience conducting Quality Assurance Audits
Technical writing, audit training, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
