We have an exciting new opportunity that has arisen with one of our clients for a Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor. The role is within one of the largest transport services companies in Europe, with the role to be based in the North East and Yorkshire. The responsibilities of this role are focused around ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies and procedures. To carry out this position you must have: - Experience working in a HGV/PCV sector - Hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent - A full driving licence Reporting to the Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager your main duties will include: - Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation - Provide support to local managers - Ensure that risk assessments, H&S management systems and associated controls are all fully implemented - Advising managers on environmental aspects The ideal candidate for this role will need to be an experienced and highly motivated Health and Safety specialist with a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. The successful candidate will have strong influencing skills and a proven track record in delivering a wide range of health, safety and environmental toolbox talks. You must have a full driving license and ideally have experience working in a HGV/PCV industry to be considered for this position.
