Deanston Cooper's client, Scotland's leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor specialising in the commercial and residential sector, has a current requirement for an experienced Remediation Project Manager to be based in their Glasgow office. This is a new business area for the company which will complement their current client offering and represents an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to lead its development and share in its success.

Applicants need to be highly skilled in remedial technologies for both contaminated land and ground water and have a good understanding of applicable legislation. You must have a solid knowledge of site investigation, interpretation, risk assessment and remedial design, together with experience of financial and project monitoring and reporting. You will be required to effectively manage all aspects (technical, personnel and commercial) of a wide range of complex projects and be the primary contact for clients.

Sound communication, excellent technical report writing and presentation skills are a must. You should have a minimum of 4 years experience and hold a relevant qualification at degree level (ideally with a science or environmental background). A full UK driving licence is required as you will be required to travel for meetings, site visits etc.
