The Organisation
Our client is a leading renewable energy development business within the UK who is looking for a Planning Manager to join their growing team with the opportunity to work across UK solar, wind and tidal projects.
The role
The role will be based in Gloucestershire with flexible working practices but the candidate will be expected to be in the office at least two days a week. There would be travel involved within the South-West, South-east, South Wales and Scotland.
A certain level of project management skills is required to coordinate and manage specialist suppliers and applications from beginning to end.
Experience and skills
- Demonstrable experience of successful people management skills
- MRTPI qualification desired
- Extensive planning experience
- Private sector development control experience for 5-10 years
- Renewables experience not essential
