Thatcher Energy are currently recruiting for an established domestic heating client who install full central heating systems and renewable energy systems across the North-West.
Due to their current requirements they are looking to appoint a Renewable Energy Sales Executive to their Bolton office on a permanent basis. This role will involve the successful candidate being responsible for the sales of renewable energy solutions to a range of potential customers in the residential, commercial and construction sectors.
The scope of the work package is, but not limited to, the following:
Generating and qualifying potential leads
Organise sales action plans and schedules
Conduct marketing activities
Sales calls to new and existing clients
Monitoring and reporting sales activities
Provide excellent customer service and build/maintain client relationships
Continual monitoring of competitors, market conditions and product development
The successful candidate will have a thorough and in-depth understanding of a variety of renewable energy technologies, including solar thermal, solar PV, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, biomass and wind power systems. They will also have strong sales experience and conducting presentations, ideally in the renewable energy market. Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets is a must.
Ideally, the candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate. The candidate will be goal driven, resilient and persuasive.
This is a permanent opportunity paying a basic salary of £21k-£25k + an excellent commission package. Alternatively, a commission only option is available on a much higher commission %.
