Renewables Design Technician - En-Spiral

They are looking for a graduate level Renewables Design Engineer to join their busy renewablews team and to start their career or take the initial steps into this exciting market

Your main Duties / Responsibilities will include:

The Interpretation and assessment of surveys, risk assessments and photographs for each customer's system / proposal

The complete feasibility studies for domestic solar PV systems

The production of system designs for domestic solar PV systems. (Designs range from producing a proposal for a customer, to validating an already sold order and producing a design to match)


·To ensure that design are completed in line with the departments Design Technical Manual and industry standards

·The use of industry standard software for the production of yield and payback calculations

·Production of accurate drawings and technical schematics (in line with each customer or clients requirements)

·Consider and detail the installation method and layout for each design

·Ensure that each completed design incorporates an accurate list of materials and quantities for each design

·Liaise with Senior and System designers for more complex systems

·Deliver excellent customer service through meeting timelines, exceeding quality expectations and producing results when under pressure

·Contribute to the team effort and help the team reach its common goals

About You:

You should have an interest in renewables and have either studied this through your degree or have suitable experience within a comparable subject
