We are looking for a Renewables Developer to participate in all aspects of the development of new onshore wind farms in the North of England; the role entails a wide range of responsibilities from site identification and acquisition to designing site layouts and submitting planning applications. Consultation with the public and other planning stakeholders, and the management of Environmental Impact Assessments, will be the key focus of your role. Managing a team of consultants, you will assess commercial viability, make strategic recommendations, draw up and implement project plans.
You are likely to have a relevant engineering, science, planning or environmental degree followed by a significant track record of experience in a wind farm project development role, with all the technical knowledge that entails. Demonstrable, up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy and the development lifecycle will equip you to answer all media and public enquiries. Proficiency in the use of development appraisal tools is also essential.
This post is based in Stanley, but you can expect to travel through the North of England, therefore a full driving licence is required.
