Due to a expanding workload they have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join this Capital Delivery Solutions team.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following: Qualifications Degree qualification within Civil Engineering and should be a Chartered Engineer Essential Criteria Significant experience of working in the Water Industry, particularly in the area of Sewerage (including UIDs) and Water Supply networks. Experience of Water and Wastewater Treatment would also be an advantageA driven individual capable of motivating multi disciplinary teams to meet deadlines and design standardsSound Civil Engineering Experience Ability to contribute to the project management of feasibility and detailed design projects Delivering designs to budget and qualityStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsDesirable Criteria· Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel proficient.Experience/knowledge of producing detail design schedules ResponsibilitiesReporting in to the Chief Engineer in Epsom the key responsibilities will be: Management Engineering design support to the Chief EngineerAttendance at Client meetings and strengthening of Client relationshipsAbility to lead motivate Setting budgets for projectsReporting progress and monitoring cost Development and challenge of engineering solutions from concept designComply with H & S requirements and CDM regulations and incorporate design for safetyReport progressTechnicalProvide technical support to the Civil Engineering teamPreparation of technical calculations and reports including technical reviewsProduction of engineering design calculations Production of innovative engineering design solutionsCo-ordination of design and drawingsIdeally hydraulic design knowledge / experience in open channel flow and pressure pipe systems relating to WTW, WwTW Sewerage and Water Supply NetworksThe IndividualInnovative and creative with ability of generating new ideas and following throughAbility to work collaboratively with clients & colleagues alikeIdentifying and notifying Project team leader of any changesDesire to own challenges and seek solutionsFlexible approach to work
