This exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the world's most successful engineering consultancies.  Its renewables and power networks division is looking to expand its operations and as such requires an Electrical Engineer with specific experience of connection of generators to networks and to design substations.

The role will involve working as part of a growing team producing work for the power and energy industries.  This work will involve engineering design/advice and may include the following: leadership of projects, power system studies, feasibility and conceptual design studies, site survey and inspection activities, analysis and design, and technical/commercial due diligence advice.  The nature of this role will require occasional travel to locations in England and Scotland with some overnight stays.

Qualified to degree level or equivalent in electrical engineering, you will be chartered with experience of managing and supporting a team of engineers including project teams.  You will have previously project managed electrical engineering projects within the transmission and distribution sector, covering grid connection, renewable and thermal generation.  Knowledge of the OFTO process would be advantageous.
