About the opportunity and what is required from you:

Overview:

To contribute to the leadership of the Energy & Environmental Services team; building a consulting business that can deliver tangible energy and cost savings on an increasing scale.

Define effective programmes of opportunities assessment and solution development; utilising in-house energy data capabilities to target energy wastage and account for energy savings post-implementation.

Recommend where appropriate measures to improve the strategic direction of the energy management unit and the development of a technical knowledge base.


Typical Duties:

Establish client needs in relation to energy management strategy and propose solutions in the form of an energy management programme.

Produce high quality, client focused reports and presentations to justify the energy management programme and ensure stakeholder buy-in

Provide strategic advice relating to energy, carbon and utilities management

Undertake energy data analysis to establish opportunities for energy reduction within client organisations
Undertake technical energy audits and produce recommendations for efficiency improvement

Develop and verify solutions for energy efficiency and produce business cases for the implementation of energy projects

Engage with 3rd party agents in the energy services marketplace to source energy technology and services

Build the internal capability to meet demand for energy management services

Develop opportunities for new business as required.

Technical Experience:

Technical awareness of mechanical and electrical energy systems through involvement in energy reduction projects

Experience of programme planning and management for commercial energy projects

Experience of generating business cases for energy reduction programmes, winning the financial argument and demonstrating tangible reductions in operational energy expenditure

Possessing data analysis skills and experience of using these skills to target valuable energy opportunities

Experience of managing a client relationships in either an account manager or technical expert capacity

Experience of energy controls engineering, M&E design, carbon trading, water management or raising investment to fund energy projects

Qualifications:
Degree, Masters or relevant qualification within energy management, Building services, Carbon reduction etc

Other applicable technical qualifications or accreditation's related to the assessment of energy efficiency or application / verification of energy solutions

Candidates must be able to drive and hold a full UK driving licence
