One of UK's leading Environmental multi disciplinary consultancies are looking to expand their environmental team in Coventry to deal with the large pipeline of work. Providing in-house allied technical services within the full range of environmental disciplines required for the successful planning, design, consenting and delivery of major projects throughout the property, energy and transport sectors.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant to join a rapidly growing Environmental team in Coventry has risen to work on some of the UK's most high profile infrastructure projects. You will be required to work principally in the rail sector helping some of the UK's leading organisations to safeguard the environment for the future.

Responsibilities
*Managing / supporting EIA and Consents projects;
*Providing advice on primary and secondary consenting options and requirements;
*Providing sustainability/environmental input during optioneering and design development;
*Editing and review of Environmental Statements/EIA Reports and associated documents;
*Financial and commercial management of projects;
*Project management including developing project programme;
*Supporting business development and work winning activities; and
*Building existing and new client relationships to ensure repeat business.

Desired experience
*BSc degree level qualified in a relevant discipline;
*Preferably MSc qualified in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management or related subject;
*Minimum as an Associate member of IEMA and working towards or preferably having gained Chartered Environmentalist status;
*Supporting EIA and Consents projects;
*Min 5-8 years previous experience working on EIA projects;
*Relevant experience in the rail sector is preferred, including preparation of Environmental Statements in support of TWAO / DCO applications;
*Working knowledge of UK environmental legislation;
*Full UK driving licence
