A Nottingham based, Environmental Consultancy are currently looking for an experienced Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team. With the opening of a new office, it is an exciting time to join and enhance your own career prospects. The main responsibilities of the role will be to deliver Geo-Environmental solutions and consultancy services throughout the construction industry. You will be in a senior position within the company and, as such, will be expected to manage both projects and teams - particularly assisting more junior members of their team with their development. You will also be expected to take part in client facing scenarios and have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
It is assumed you will have experience with the supervision of site investigation works, risk assessments and utilising soil logging software (Holebase or similar). In addition to this, you must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of geo-environmental investigation, sampling and in-situ testing, as well as design methods of design for piles, retaining walls, earthworks, geotechnical structure and slope stability. It is also essential you are confident assessing geotechnical and environmental risks and Phase I & Phase II site investigations.
