One of UK's leading Environmental multi disciplinary consultancies are looking to expand their environmental team in Coventry to deal with the large pipeline of work. Providing in-house allied technical services within the full range of environmental disciplines required for the successful planning, design, consenting and delivery of major projects throughout the property, energy and transport sectors.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer/Consultant to join a rapidly growing Environmental team in Coventry has risen to work on some of the UK's most high profile infrastructure and development projects.
You will be required to design, implement and supervise ground investigation and the contamination of land. Also you must be able to produce Phase 1 desk top studies, risk assessments and Phase 2 interpretation reports including quantitative risk assessments. Also be experienced with remediation of contaminated land (Phase 3) is preferred.
You will also be required to have excellent knowledge of land quality issues, including designing site investigations, human health, controlled waters and ground gas risk assessments, remediation options and good knowledge of the legislative processes excellent report writing and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be have a degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have a minimum of 5 years practical experience and experience in leading a small team. You must have a working knowledge in current governing standards within the site investigation of contaminated land, including ground water and ground gas monitoring and sampling.
