Job Description Senior Managers are responsible for the execution of client engagements and maintaining a strong relationship with senior client personnel. Senior Managers must have a solid understanding of their client's business and be able to demonstrate technical competence in their product, group and industry. Senior Managers ensure quality and satisfaction on engagements and must be able to clearly articulate the value drivers of our business. Senior Managers are also responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients and for job economics such as ensuring timely close and billing of projects. Key responsibilities include: Management of the delivery of client engagements against Protiviti's standards for engagement management including: Managing Protiviti and client staffProject and programme planning and trackingDevelopment and quality assurance of engagement deliverablesReporting and presenting to senior client and Protiviti staff of project deliverables, status and risk Delivery of high quality output, advice and assurance across projects;Marketing and enhancing Protiviti's profile in the market through: Excellent delivery and client management on engagementsDevelopment of client opportunities and relationships within engagementsMaintaining client contacts made through the course of the candidates careerIdentification of engagement opportunitiesPromoting Protiviti's values and philosophies Development of Protiviti propositions and thought leadership including white papers, FAQs and other marketing materials;Enhancement of technical and operational knowledge through coaching from team and industry specific training/seminars/forums.Develop expertise in specific technical areas or industries; andContribution towards employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities and initiating and conducting training. Required Experience The successful candidate will have experience of: Leading a portfolio of client engagements across large financial services, including effective people management;Managing and overseeing a wide range of technology and risk consulting engagements, including risk assessments, health-checks, strategic and governance reviews, IT operations improvement and technology programme reviews and assurance;Development and review of proposals and statements of work, effectively translating customer requirements into engagements to meet their needs and effecting positive change for the client;Developing trusted-advisor and peer relationships with clients at senior and C-suite levels, while conveying complex information technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level staff;Leading roles in account planning and business development activities across IT consulting and IT risk, identifying new sales opportunities and successfully securing more work by liaising with senior client management;Creating comprehensive assessment reports that clearly identify root causes, remediation or benefit realisation strategies and implementation plans using creative approaches to identify areas where additional value could be realised by clients; andManaging project commercials and resource planning while mentoring managers and senior consultants on ways to improve engagement economics and job efficiency. Required Skills and Knowledge Proven track record in managing complex projects, with evidence of successful management of stakeholders;Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment;Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, including specifically a good understanding of technology risk to both business processes and supporting technology;Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills;Ability to discuss technical and industry trends and the related Protiviti solutions;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Strong presentation skills; andA highly professional approach to the work environment. Educational & Professional Credentials Required Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Information Systems, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems, Engineering);Significant experience in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry;Professional Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, QSA are strongly preferred. Ability to Travel Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments. Location This role will be based in our central London office.
