Senior Project Controller / Cost EngineerJob Type: PermanentSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus package (or temp)

The Green Recruitment Company is representing an expanding offshore engineering organisation specialising in subsea structures and connections. Our client is a big player in this field, consistently producing multi-million pound revenue streams in the past 5 years. They are now in a period of extensive growth, planning to expand operations threefold in the next 6 months.We are very interested in meeting high calibre engineers who have experience and knowledge in the design, manufacture and testing in the offshore environment.
The Role:
- Implement Project Monitoring and Reporting System for project manager
- Prepare project plans including schedule, resource requirements, cash flow forecast and budget
- Research and collate progress data and maintain project plan and prepare schedule, progress, resource and cost reports.
- Prepare project reports including narrative elements for both internal and client use. Assist with Contractual and Commercial discussions with Clients.
- Assist with pricing and preparation of tenders.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with industry standard planning software, e.g. Primavera, Pertmaster and Project. Competent with Excel
- Technical Experience with engineering Projects Previous experience as a planner/cost engineer
The Project Controller requires experience across a wide range of engineering disciplines including contractual and commercial aspects. Financial awareness is also an important attribute for the project controller. Written and verbal presentation techniques and computer literacy are required.
