The project manager will also be responsible for establishing and leading a support team including design consultants, resident engineer, CDM Co-ordinator, ecologist, archaeologists. Additional responsibilities include co-ordination with operations activities and other ongoing projects on the site.
It is anticipated that by the start of the appointment the project will have planning permission, will be sanctioned and the tendering process for the main project scope will be at an advanced stage. The project will run over 2012 and 2013, with close-out occurring during the first few months of 2014.
