Job Title: Shift Team Leader
Location: Beatrice Offshore Windfarm, Wick
Salary: £34,123 – £45,066 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus
Permanent | Full Time Hours | Shift Pattern 4 days on/4 days off
You will supervise the team who are responsible for wind farm operations, service and repair of the balance of plant elements, including the transmission assets. This will also include coordinating and working with wind turbine service teams.
You will ensure all operations and maintenance works carried out on the wind farm balance of plant assets comply with policies, procedures, SHE and OEM recommendations and that operation of the High Voltage systems onshore and offshore are carried out in accordance with company safety rules.
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have a recognised background in an engineering discipline with minimum of a relevant HNC or equivalent and ideally have experience in a supervisory role of multidiscipline teams within a maintenance environment.
Previous experience of working with a Safe System of Work, knowledge of HV safety rules, preparation of RAMS documentation and carrying out tool box talks would be advantageous.
Good communication skills are essential to ensure you can provide supervision of multidiscipline teams and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines.
The role will entail working on a shift rota. During the construction phase of the wind farm and as part of your training and competency development you will be required to work at various locations across the UK.
