Currently recruiting for a Site based Health & Safety Advisor to be based in Nottingham on a major civil engineering project. Candidates will help to initiate and maintain positive measures to raise Health & Safety standards to ensure the company complies with BS OHSAS 18001 obligations and support the monitoring of sites through the audit process, reacting positively and effectively to address any issues. They will also ensure all personnel on site comply with Health & Safety Legislation and the Project Health & Safety Plan.

Candidates will have experience working in a safety advisor position, hold a minimum of the NEBOSH General Certificate (ideally the NEBOSH Construction certificate) and have a background working for a civil or build contractor.

Candidates should live local to Nottingham or within a daily commutable distance.
