Description
Our client has a requirement for a Site Supervisor to be resident on site for the duration of the contract commencing with site possession and concluding with satisfactory completion of all performance tests.
This is a fixed term contract role based on a site in Exeter.
You will be responsible for day to day supervision of the contractor and providing an overview of Health and Safety on site.
You will report and communicate to the Project Manager who will be based in their office and you'll be supported by office-based technical and contract staff to suit progress of the works.
You will also provide a day to day overview and reporting of H&S matters.
BEng or equivalent in either Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Focus: Project Delivery
You will have extensive experience and direct experience of construction, testing and commissioning of a large Energy from Waste plant.
Experience of site supervision of Design and Build contracts.
Knowledge of the I Chem E Red Book would also be advantageous.
You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in either civil, mechanical or electrical engineering and will ideally be a Chartered Engineer.
It is vital that applicants have experience of construction of Energy from Waste plants.
