Team Leader for Technical Project Management Offshore Wind JobMechanical / Electrical Project Engineering / Management JobRenewable Energy Job / Offshore Wind JobSiemens Wind have an opportunity for a Team Leader responsible for the leadership of a team of UK based Technical Project Managers to provide support for UK based Offshore Projects. You will participate in Technical Project Management candidate selection and training in Global Technical Project Management standards. You will be responsible for securing well functioning collaboration with the Wind Power Offshore Engineering organisation in Brande (Denmark) and gaining support from Offshore Engineering to secure closing of contracts. You will also complement technical competences in Wind Power technology especially on electrical disciplines.You will be responsible for technical coordination with key clients / suppliers in UK and for developing the Offshore Engineering function and organisation for the UK including sales support. The organisation shall be able to support 2-3 projects with minor support from Wind Power Offshore Engineering at their HQ in Brande.The function shall provide support for: - Sales and contract negotiations for Offshore projects- Project planning phase- Project execution phaseThe team is expected after 3 years to consist of around 7 TPM´s The function shall be working closely between local Sales and PM organisations The function is responsible for training new Technical Project Managers You will be responsible for providing Technical expertise on special projects - Sales projects if new scope, client, continent etc. - Development projects to be decided together with Head of Offshore EngineeringOverall technical sales strategy/concept for sales projects (before Bid/no Bid) - Choice of WTG, tower type, overall logistic concept incl. program- Based on feasibility package, client and marked info from TPM/TSM group describing site conditions, park layout and project descriptionCandidate Specification MSc.
