My client is a fully integrated developer, owner and operator of solar energy power projects. They focus on the development and ownership of roof based systems on industrial scale commercial buildings and also land based systems. They have an experienced team covering planning, design, construction and engineering, financing, project management, commercial property development and legal - enabling the delivery of entire project delivery for their clients
Roles and Responsibilities:
Operations:
-Preparation of monthly reports for the Project Company, preparation of yearly operation and maintenance budget plan for the Solar PV Projects.
-Supervision of monitoring process, data collection and equipment calibration for all meteorological and performance data
-Management of communications systems and accounts
-Management of all health and safety matters
-Attendance of site meetings with owner, DNO's and contractors in the office and on site. Liaison with O&M contractors, EPC contractors, Insurance Companies, Technical Service Providers, DNOs, local planning authorities
-Incident management
Maintenance:
-Supervision and management of the O&M Contractor to ensure compliance with their obligations under the maintenance contract with a view to maximise performance output and reliability of the Systems
-Review and approve preventative maintenance scheduling
-Review and approve corrective maintenance
-Review O&M reporting for accuracy
-Liaison with, coordination, appointment and management of other contractors that may be required to operate and maintain the project (including any specialist advisors or contractors).
-Review of Inspection Reports
Spare Parts Management:
-Supervision of the O&M's spare parts management and ordering of spare parts in conjunction with the Project Company, if required
Performance Monitoring:
-Revenue meter verification
-Review actual production performance data on a regular basis
-Analyze actual production data against budget and explain variance
-Address system efficiency issues
-Supervision of response of technical staff to site in case of unplanned event / breakdown affecting the production and sale of electricity.
Interconnection:
-Liaison with DNO's / other contractors on all electrical interconnection issues / metering / electrical system protection and on all issues pertaining to the Mandatory FIT Licensee or other PPA provider.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
