Turbine Measurements - Team Leader - Wind  

Our client is recognised as one of the largest independent technical and engineering consultancies within renewable energy. They offer over 20 years consulting experience across a variety of renewable energy industry sectors.

They are currently looking to recruit a Turbine Measurements Team Leader to lead and coordinate the measurements team in India. The role will also involve the delivery of detailed type measurements such as structural load measurements, power performance measurements and electrical measurements.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the local existing team
• Ensure ISO 17025 accreditation is gained for the measurement service
• Look to expand the existing measurements team
• Deliver type Measurements for turbine manufacturers and operators
• Be responsible for the technical execution and quality of the service

To be considered for this position you will have previous experience in leading a team of engineers on an international level, have excellent communication skills both written and oral and hold a solid background in carrying out type tests for wind turbines. The successful candidate will have a degree as an electrical or mechanical engineer.

Candidates would have the willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
