Currentyly our client is looking for an experienced Welding QC /Senior Weld inspector.

Reporting Line: Package Manager

Requirements: Inspection,verification of workmanship and weld quality based on applicable project Specifications/Drawings//Norm/Codes/Standards. Responsible for the allocation and satisfactory completion of tasks and be authorised to sign on behalf of our clients Project Mgr.

Tasks
:
1-Verify,Survey,monitoring fabrication during pre-fabrication/Installation and erection of welded constructions.
2- Planning and perform supervision and welding inspection during all project welding activities as described under point 1 above.
3- Verify operational welding techniques and activities used to fulfill quality control requirements for weldments
4- Planning,control, supervision and application of base material and filler metals in the preparation and completion of production weldments.
5- Detection and measurement of weld discontinuities by application of visual or other nondestructive evaluation processes to an written procedure.
6- Check verify plans/drawings/specifications regarding validity and clear marked with AFC (Approved for construction)
7- Review and verify PQR,s and WPS,s
8- Review verify welders qualifications and certifications
9- Review, verify material certificates
10- Check,verify by measuring weld equipment calibration status and correctness of calibration certificates.

Technical product knowledge
Knowledge about Quality commercial skills ,Knowledge of contract lawIT tools and methods language skills - Good German and English
process knowledge , negotiation Skills ,Presentation / facilitation skills, Project Management
Other

Project experience functional areas: At least 5 year experience as welding inspector. Good knowledge of national/international norms/codes/standards.Good knowledge of used welding methods and NDE/NDT methods. Qualification and certification requirements: In accordance with applicable requirements of the DIN-EN 14731 IIW (International Institute of Welding)- or AWS (American Welding Society) ASME IX or DIN EN.
