The Green Recruitment Company is representing an exciting young renewable energy firm operating throughout northern England. This client offers turnkey solutions in a both the wind and solar energy marketplace. The main purpose of the business development position will be to identify areas in which the company can develop the wind and solar clientele.
As the wind sales representative you will be required to travel to clients in rural locations with an aim to sell wind systems. The main product will be small scale (10kW plus) turbines. You will have the responsibility for business development and roll out of renewable wind energy services in the north of England. Responsible for the execution and performance of wind energy projects and involved in the acquisition of such projects ensuring that services are carried out in accordance with the technical requirements of the wind industry.
Experience and skills:
Hands on field sales experience is essential. Ideally you will have experience in a sales and the business development capacity focusing on selling highly technical services to a diverse range of agricultural and commercial customers. Ideally you will have a sales engineering background - an existing network within the wind industry would be very desirable. An understanding of the technicality of wind turbines is very important and the ability to pass on this information is a clear and concise manner to potential customers.
