WTG Engineer

Responsibilities:

Support of technical package management for WTG contract during tender evaluation and negotiations, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning until handover to operations. 

The WTG Engineer reports to the WTG Package Manager.

Supports the WTG Package Manager in the coordination of the WTG Package. 

Secure fulfilment of all HSSE requirements applicable to WTG Package in all phases.

Functional description: 

Tender/Negotiation Phase

• Assist with development of technical tender evaluation criteria
• Undertake technical evaluation and comparison of bids received
• Participate in technical contract negotiations with WTG suppliers
• Propose, check, and evaluate technical conditions of contract
• Support preparation of interface descriptions
• Support claim register (technical)
• Support Gate 1,5 application

Implementation Phase

• Coordinate interfaces between employer and WTG supplier
• Controlling of contract obligations and monitoring of deadlines
• Review WTG documentation
• Realize technical processing of claims
• Implement Package risk register in collaboration with commercial team
• Support the WTG Package Manager in certification, logistic, and QC issues
• Coordinate interfaces with other Packages (e.g. foundation, logistics, electrical)
• Participate in internal and external project meetings

Applicants must be eligible to work and live in Europe, German language skills are considered to be advantageous.
