Description
We are currently seeking a number of Manufacturing Engineers to join our existing team supporting our client in East Midlands and are seeking candidates with the following experience to broaden our capability and capacity:
- - Manufacturing engineers (minimum HNC qualified) with a high level of technical expertise and skill to plan, design , setup, modify, optimise and monitor manufacturing processes;
- - Through the development of a rigorous process drive manufacturing risk to acceptable levels via design change, process development, capability acquisition or deployment of conformance control features
- - Ensure product integrity for component is delivered through conformance of control features;
- - Have led projects/activities across a range of manufacturing processes, with knowledge of manufacturing, technology insertion, new product introduction, process revalidation and quality improvement , change such as facility re-design, facility moves
Key Skills
Successful candidates should have experience of the following:
- - Manufacturing launch plan creation;
- - Design for manufacture;
- - Concept Method of manufacture;
- - Ability to create technical instructions;
- - Create manufacturing models and stage drawings;
- - Design fixtures and tooling;
- - Create and improve NC programmes;
- - Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis);
- - Populate Dimensional Characteristic matrix;
- - Create and validate manufacturing cost;
- - Virtual trials;
- - Plan and conduct proof of process;
- - MCA (Manufacturing Capability Acquisition) Analysis;
- - Technical procurement of equipment;
- - Deliver MCA projects, achieve MCRL 6 (Manufacturing Capability Readiness Level).
It is anticipated that the relevant experience will have been achieved within a heavy industry background.
