We have a vacancy for a Technical Design Engineer for Biomass and Solar Thermal systems. The candidate will work with the Technical Director and will have education to an undergraduate level, preferably with a Mechanical Engineering qualification. Skills should include 2D auto cad and Microsoft office, principally Excel. The main tasks include: hydraulic schematic design, heat loss analysis, technical site surveys for the in-house installation projects and those of our installer partner network. The type of biomass system designs will range from 10kW pellet stoves to 400kW district heat mains. We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career, willing to learn and passionate about environmental sustainability and renewable energy systems. Oxfordshire, Reading £20k - £25k per annum
