Senior Structural Engineer&amp;nbsp; - for Oil &amp;amp; Gas &amp;amp; Renewables &amp;ndash; UK. 

Stress Engineer/ Structural / Civil Engineer to Design Oil &amp;amp; Gas rigs and also Offshore Renewables: Wind Turbines, Wave Power or Tidal Energy. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;

Need structural engineering experience plus engineering degree: Mechanical / Structural / Civil &amp;nbsp;
THE COMPANY:- A fast growing, innovative and exciting renewable company to work for, that offer excellent chances for technical and personal development in the role of Structural Engineer / Civil Engineer. To help design foundations for off shore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large off shore foundations eg. mono piles and jacket structures.&amp;nbsp;  ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:-&amp;nbsp;  * Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree 
Min 3 years commercial Structural engineering experience &amp;nbsp;  Advantage to have: 
Offshore/ marine - either Oil &amp;amp; Gas or wind turbines or similar
Offshore Structures Design and Analysis Software
ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, MATHCAD or STAADPRO, FEA packages&amp;nbsp; 
* Specification, Development, and Validation of calculations; both analytical and finite element) calculations, including extreme and fatigue loads calculations for a large renewables design house.&amp;nbsp; * Heavy castings, steel, welded structures, structural bolted connection * Calculation procedures, specifications and methodologies definition and improvement.&amp;nbsp;
Any Geo technical knowledge - for Seabed&amp;nbsp;
THE ROLE of Structural Engineer 

To provide comprehensive lifecycle applications for the analysis and design of new and existing fixed offshore structures for the oil, gas, and wind energy markets. These include:

Non-linear analysis for offshore platform failures
Fatigue life evaluation
Foundation/structures, spars/ topsides


* Offshore codes * Welding Codes * Corrosion Protection * Wave Loading &amp;ndash; Ansys Offshore or Bentley SACS &amp;ndash; a finite element structural analysis suite of programs that uniquely provides for the design, fabrication, installation, operations, and maintenance of offshore structures, including oil platforms and wind farms. 
Standards: DNV J101 - Design of Offshore Wind Turbine Structures (DNV-OS-J101), provides principles, technical requirements and guidance for design, construction and in-service inspection of offshore wind turbine structure

DNV-RP-C203: Fatigue Design of Offshore Steel (Gives recommendations in relation to fatigue analyses based on fatigue tests)
