The Role
As the wind business development manager you will be required to travel to clients in rural locations with an aim to sell wind turbines in rural areas to agricultural property owners, rural areas and landowners. The work will be field-based and you will be required to travel to clients by car. You will be expected to organise meetings for Agricultural customers and commercial customers to educate them about the benefits of wind turbines with the aim to make a sale. This will be a home-based role.
Experience and skills

Hands-on wind business development is preferable but not necessary. Ideally you will have experience in a sales and the business development function focusing on selling highly technical services to a diverse and agricultural customer base.
Experience introducing new service offerings or entering new market segments is highly desirable.
Exposure to wind-related technical professional services, such as project certification, type certification, site analysis, risk assessment and project design would be of great value.
