Fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading organisation in the low carbon domestic Energy sector.Kingfisher Future Homes, a subsidiary of Kingfisher plc, was established in 2012 to deliver a range of energy efficient measures through ECO (Energy Company Obligation) and Green Deal funded schemes.As Business Development Manager you will play an integral part in ensuring the continued growth and delivery of low carbon energy efficiency projects across the Local Authority / Housing Association sector as part of ECO / Green Deal.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy you will work closely with both the Commercial and Operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of new business in the Domestic Energy sector with Housing Associations across the UK.
You will play a key role in shaping the business position, developing business strategy and market propositions and contribute to revenue and profitability targets for existing projects.
This is a national position and can be home based/ flexible to suit. Kingfisher Future Homes operates primarily from B&amp;amp;Q&#039;s head office in Chandlers Ford.
Key Responsibilities:
&amp;bull; To deliver &amp;pound;2m pa of new LA/ SHP commercial agreements.&amp;bull; Ensure new business makes a margin contribution to the Kingfisher Future Homes business.&amp;bull; Build an ongoing pipeline of new business.&amp;bull; Work closely with Commercial Development Manager and Head of Installations to ensure successful delivery of commercial contracts.&amp;bull; Collaborate with other LA/SHP Business Development Managers to ensure successful delivery of team commercial objectives.&amp;bull; Play a key role in shaping our positioning, targeting strategy and market propositions.&amp;bull; Contribute to revenue and profitability targets for Kingfisher Future Homes.&amp;bull; Work closely with the marketing, operations and legal teams to deliver creative market solutions.&amp;bull; Feed in and support New Business project management lead.&amp;bull; Support development and team working across New Business function.As Business Development Manager you will exhibit demonstrable success within a similar role in the low carbon space (CERT / CESP / ECO / Green Deal).
You will also possess:
&amp;bull; Proven Local Authority / Housing Association contract delivery track record.&amp;bull; In depth knowledge of energy efficiency measures.&amp;bull; The ability to adapt and tailor commercial solutions whilst maintaining key focus on delivering a profitable business.&amp;bull; Expertise in influencing and communicating at Head of/ Director level and also at a senior level within the public sector.&amp;bull; Commercial contract negotiation expertise.&amp;bull; The ability to work confidently across a range of internal and external stakeholders, to deliver against agreed business objectives and brand expectations.&amp;bull; An ambassadorial approach for the B&amp;amp;Q Energy Saving brand and Kingfisher Future Homes business.Kingfisher plc is the leading home improvement retail group in Europe and Asia, operating over 950 stores in eight countries.
