The Role:

As a senior level figure within the management team, the successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities at both an operational and strategic level. Main duties will include:

-	Providing professional  advice on offshore engineering matters mainly relating to turbine selection, installation, turbine design and foundations.
-	Provide the technical lead on all operations and maintenance strategy for large offshore wind farms.
-	Business development of new clientele. This will require somebody to have extremely strong networks within offshore wind, wave and marine technologies and somebody who has the proactivity and business nous to utilise this.
-	Hands on consultancy in electrical/mechanical engineering matters, project procurement and supply chain management.
-	Communication with public bodies when necessary.



The Candidate:

This position will require an individual with unsurpassed experience of offshore wind engineering. It requires a very professional person who identifies business opportunities and works tirelessly to deliver an excellent service. Candidate requirements:

-	Degree in an engineering discipline (ideally to Chartered status)
-	Multiple years experience working for an offshore renewable energy developer, consultancy, manufacturer or utility.
-	An effective communicator with an appreciation for market conditions and private/public influences.
-	A focussed professional who is analytical and intelligent.

The Role
Lead and manage all aspects of the offshore construction works required for wind farm projects.
